I recently took a look at my personal Pinterest page, curious to see if the things I pinned 7 years ago would align with my taste today. To my surprise many of them were statement pieces including white wide leg pants. You won’t catch me lounging around the house or working from home in these pants right now but I wanted to share some ways to style white wide leg pants for future inspiration.
Finding the perfect pair of white wide leg pants is actually quite hard. With the number of body types and materials out there, finding the right pair takes some time and sometimes a bit of alteration. I was super happy when I found these Topshop pants early last year. They are high waisted (just like I prefer) and little alteration was needed because I’m a shortie. The site description says they are cream but they look pretty darn close to white to me LOL. Also, the material isn’t thin so these pants aren’t see through and aren’t super tight.
Black and White
Pairing a black top with white high waisted pants gives you an effortless look. When it comes to high waisted pants or skirts, I love wearing a bodysuit so that I don’t have to worry about re-adjusting my shirt every thirty minutes. I wore my Everlane black bodysuit (future post coming soon) and it is a great work staple too! This look below is something I would 100% wear to work.

Off The Shoulder Look
Speaking of bodysuits, since my lower body is fully covered, I would also wear these pants with an off-shoulder top! This particular bodysuit is off-shoulder and mesh, creating a classy yet sexy evening look.

Keep It Casual with Denim
A good chambray button down shirt is timeless and can dress down any outfit including white high waisted pants. It’s also a great option to wear to work!

White on White on White
Don’t be afraid to wear white on white! I opted for a sheer organza blouse that was all party on the top and business on the bottom. A great way to look sexy but also keeping it classy. This would be great for a dinner date or girls night! You can read all about how I would style this organza blouse here!

Statement Top
You will often catch me wearing bright colors and bold statement tops so when I see these white high waisted pants I automatically think COLOR! Try styling these pants with a fun festive color or a statement top that would be great for a party! I love the color and the sleeves on this top. It wasn’t too cropped and it clearly makes a statement!

Dress It Up with a Blazer
Adding a blazer will instantly lift your look. I opted to wear a bralette and vibrant red blazer to make a statement but this can be worn with a white camisole for a more conservative look.
