How the heck is Thanksgiving next week? Can’t believe another year has come and gone and here we are approaching holiday season. Life looks even more different with this whole pandemic thing but I AM looking forward to just winding down from a crazy year and spending time with a few friends and family. I found this Thanksgiving inspired flannel shirt at Target and thought it would be fun to style it a few ways! I sized up one size and got a Medium because I wanted the back of the shirt to cover and wanted room for holiday food haha. It is currently $20 bucks and sizes XS to XXL are available!
Leggings
No surprises over here LOL! My spanx faux leather leggings get the most use around this time of year and can you blame me (you can read more about them here)? I paired the shirt and the leggings with my cognac colored over the knee boots to contrast.
Suede
This camel colored suede skirt is the perfect compliment to this orange flannel! Suede comes in so many colors. Green suede would look great with this shirt too!
Faux Leather
Different colored faux leather is popular at the moment. Try wearing a flannel shirt with a faux leather skirt or even pants! This burgundy skirt complements the colors on the flannel very well! I tied it to make it more cropped but you could keep it tucked in or open with a cami underneath!
Denim
You can never go wrong with jeans! I decided to wear my slouchy jeans for a different look but any denim (ie jeans, shorts, skirts) are perfect with flannel!
Layer It
Keeping your flannel open and layering is also another easy way to dress your flannel shirt. It can even work as a light jacket depending on how thick your flannel is. I added this flannel over a black bodycon dress to dress up the look and give it more edgy vibe!
These are just five quick and different ways you can style a flannel for thanksgiving. Let me know which one is your favorite and how else you would style a flannel in the comments below!
