Organza pieces have been trending for awhile and I am guilty of going overboard with this trend. If you haven’t heard of organza, you’ve most probably seen it and just didn’t know that what it was. Organza is a lightweight sheer fabric that can be used for dresses, skirts and my personal favorite – blouses! Whether it’s organza sleeves or a completely sheer blouse, the organza material lets you play around with all types of conservative levels. Organza blouses are a statement piece and would be a fun addition to any closet. Keep reading to see how I would style a white organza blouse!
Sometimes too much sheer can be intimidating and if flaunting your skin is only for your man or gal, that’s okay! The hardest part about wearing a completely sheer top is knowing what to wear underneath. If you are going for a more conservative look, you can wear a camisole or a bodysuit underneath your blouse – it will give you the coverage you want and more importantly, it’s South Asian mom approved 😉
Personally, I’m not afraid to show some skin and these organza blouses let me do that but in a classy way. When it comes to choosing the color of what you wear under see through fabric, I find myself staying in the same color palette and opt to wear something that matches my blouse. With that being said, I’ve seen people where bold colors underneath their sheer tops and it can still make a great statement! Below I’ve worn a white bralette because the top is white itself. I would also wear a bandeau or white bra under this top. Below are 4 simple ways I styled this white sheer organza blouse!
Organza with Denim
Denim is my go-to option if I want to dress down my outfit. You could wear an organza blouse with denim jeans or denim shorts! And remember, denim doesn’t always have to be blue!
Organza with Wide Leg Pants
I love high waisted wide leg pants! Standing at 5’2 I always feel much taller than I am when I wear this pant style (blog post coming soon)! I styled this top with white pants to create a classy all white look.
Organza with Colorful Bottoms
Obviously white is one of the easiest colors to pair clothes with. My closet is full of bright colors and different patterns. I paired this top with a bright blue skort that instantly lifts my mood and is so fun!
Organza and Faux Leather
Whether it’s faux leather pants, shorts or skirts, this organza blouse paired with leather makes a statement. I paired it with a black pleated leather skirt but leather doesn’t always have to be black.
Unfortunately, my blouse is from last year and is sold out but I have linked some other white organza blouses that I own/ would wear ranging in different conservative levels.
Hopefully this post inspires you to go buy your first.. or fifth organza piece and play around different ways of styling it. All of these looks can work with your preference of bralette, bodysuit or camisole! How would you style an organza blouse? Let me know in the comments below!
